All the technical mechanics (strokes/motors/grip dimensions) are the same as the existing Wands. The difference is the magnetic backplate and how it is now flush and compatible with the Critical Connect firmware. It provides a much more compact pen machine dimension and has a better design aesthetic (you don’t have a battery sticking out from the machine). Critical Connect Enabled The batteries are also enabled with Critical Connect, meaning it is compatible with the Critical Connect footswitch (sold separately) for those artists wanting to use a footswitch to continuously or momentarily control their Power WAND.
